Can I trust clinics in Turkey?
Advice from HM Govt for medical travellers to Turkey from the UK is to ensure that your chosen medical facility is accredited with the Turkish authorities.
Turkey’s Ministry of Health, alongside the Independent Turkish Medical Association determine the standards and guidelines followed by healthcare facilities, including hospitals and medical practitioners.
Aside from accreditation by the Ministry of Health, healthcare facilities may have international accreditation with groups such as the Joint Commission International (JCI) and the International Standards Organization (ISO). Furthermore, in addition to being certified by the Turkish Medical Association, many doctors are members of national and professional organizations related to their field, such as the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS).
Do I have to pay Mediphi?
No. The cost of Mediphi’s Healthcare Assistant to find a doctor, schedule appointments and provide assistance is completely free.

What does the price provided by the clinic include?
The price provided by the clinic is the full amount of the cost of your procedure, including all surgeon and ancillary staff fees as well as “hidden” expenses, such as lab tests, scans and medication. Some clinics do offer free airport pickup and hotel accommodation. Please consult on your healthcare assistant for more details.
Is the price provided by the clinic my final procedure price?
Yes. The price quoted to you is typically the full and final price of your procedure.
What is personal information provided to the clinic?
We do not pass any personal information to our providers unless you give us your permission to do so. We do recommend that you provide as much information as possible, for example your medical history, so that the doctor can provide an accurate assessment on your suitability for the procedure and quote based on all the facts available. However, we will send the information without sharing personal details, such as your name and address, until you are ready to schedule an appointment.
Can I get in touch with clinics as many as I want?
We want you to feel comfortable with the choice you have made. So, there is no limit on the number of clinics you contact through Mediphi.
Who arranges the formalities related to my medical travel?
Mediphi will make the arrangements with your doctor and clinic. Many hospitals offer packages that include accommodation in hotels nearby. However, we are perfectly happy to help you make other arrangements, including travel and accommodation, that are typically booked by you.
How do I schedule the treatment?
Once you have registered with us, you can access further information about our doctors and clinics. Additionally, one of our healthcare assistants will guide you through the process and schedule your treatment at the earliest time convenient to you.
Can I cancel the planned trip and procedure?
You may cancel the planned trip and procedure at any time without cost to you.
Who arranges my after-treatment care?
Your doctor in Turkey will arrange all your after-treatment care.
